In my previous blog I had mentioned about couple of stocks that you may want to consider keeping in your portfolio http://analyzestockmarket.blogspot.in/2012/08/stocks-that-you-should-consider-keeping.html
I will be adding stocks to this topic almost on a daily or weekly basis so that you can keep a track of the prices especially for these stocks
Miscellaneous
V-Guard - (vguard, trending up for last 3 years)
Private Banks
HDFC Bank
Kotak Bank
Yes Bank
Auto Industry
Tata Motors
There is generally this misconception that do not buy stocks which have a PE greater than the industry average, while it is not completely wrong you should not go only by one thumb rule.
Almost all stocks that are at its peak that I have mentioned in list 1 and 2 have PE much above the industry average for that sector. The reason why it is so is because of investors vesting greater confidence on the following
1. Management Team quality
2. Company's Philosophy
3. Consistency in showing performance results
4. Innovative in approach (products or services provided)
5. Managing turbulent times in an efficient manner
Note: Technically a stock is good in charts because of fundamental reasons that are outlined above, so it more adds to my previous posts on how to play technically and invest fundamentally
